Delta 8 THC is similar to Delta 9 THC, only with fewer atomic bonds. We are still learning about the difference in effect.
US Patent US20070149611A1 states: “Δ8-THC, for the most part, produces similar psychometric effects as does Δ9-THC, but is generally considered to be 50% less potent than Δ9-THC and has been shown in some cases to be 3-10 times less potent.” It has been studied for it’s anti-emetic and appetite stimulation properties in the pharmaceutical industry.
Delta 8 THC is usually produced from trim. This is because all other elements are stripped away in the extraction process of Delta 8 THC. That is why you don’t see it in URSA Extracts products. All of our products are from fresh frozen cannabis.
